Moved appointments keep the right name

An appointment booked for a particular person now stays in that person's name when it is moved. Your bookings list shows the name the appointment is for.

More from October 2026

One phone number is often shared by several people, such as a family or a workplace. When your receptionist books an appointment for a name other than the one the number is filed under, it keeps that name with the booking.

What was wrong

Moving that appointment replaced the name with the one the phone number is filed under. A booking for one person then read as a booking for another.

What changed

  • A moved appointment keeps the name it was booked for.
  • Your bookings list shows that name, so you can see who the appointment is for at a glance.
  • The customer record is not changed. The name on the appointment and the name the number is filed under are kept apart.

You can see your appointments under Scheduling, then Bookings, in your dashboard. For how booking works on a call, read booking appointments by phone.
