The whole process in plain text: what happens, what it costs, what is live today and the questions people ask before they try it.
The short version
Ringar AI reads your website. It builds a receptionist that knows your business, and you can talk to it within about two minutes. The trial is free, with no card details and no contract.

The process
Five steps, in the order you do them.
01
Enter your website
Type your web address. You do not need an account to start.
02
Ringar AI reads and learns your business
It reads your site and drafts a receptionist that knows what you do, your hours and the questions people usually ask.
03
Hear and test your receptionist in your browser
You can test your receptionist within about two minutes. Change anything that is not right before anything goes live.
04
Create your account and get a free UK number after a quick verification
Create your account with an email address and a password. A free UK phone number is set up for your trial after a quick verification.
05
Calls are answered and every outcome is recorded
Calls to your number are answered, and each one appears in your dashboard with a transcript and what came of it.
What it does on a call
•Answers every inbound call, including out of hours and when lines are busy.
•Answers questions from the information the business has given it, and says so rather than guessing when it does not know.
•Captures the caller's name, number and what they need.
•Books appointments where the business has connected a calendar.
•Puts callers through to a person when the business has set a transfer number.
•Arranges a callback or takes a message when the call needs a person and cannot be put through, with the context already captured.
•Leaves a full written transcript and the outcome of every call.
What it does not do
•It does not store call audio. No recordings are kept.
•It does not confirm an action to a caller that it did not complete.
Pricing
Every plan includes calendar bookings and unlimited assistants. What changes is the minutes, the users, the concurrent calls and the phone numbers included.

What happens when the minutes run out
When the included minutes run out, Ringar stops accepting new calls. A call already in progress is never cut off; it finishes normally. You can then buy a 100-minute bundle (coming soon) or move to a larger plan.
Prices exclude VAT. No account needed to try it first.
Will callers know they are speaking to a computer?
Most people work it out, and we think that is fine. It answers naturally, listens properly and does not pretend to be a person if it is asked directly. What matters to a caller is whether they got what they rang for.
What happens when a caller needs an actual person?
If you have set a transfer number, it puts the caller through to your team. If the call cannot be put through, it takes the details and arranges a callback, with what they wanted and when suits them. That reaches the right person with the context already captured, rather than a missed call and a name.
What if it does not know the answer?
It says so rather than inventing one, and records the question for you. You can then answer it once and it will use that answer from then on.
How long does setup take?
You add your website and review what it drafts, decide how common calls should be handled, and connect your number. Most of the work is deciding what you want to happen, not configuration.
How easy is it to set up?
You do not need to write prompts, build a workflow, or understand how any of it works underneath. Add your website and it reads it to draft your assistant for you. You review what it found and fix anything that is wrong. Then you test it yourself and connect your number.
Do we have to change our phone number?
No. Calls can be forwarded to it from the number your customers already have.
Can we see what it said?
Yes. Every call has a full written transcript, what the caller wanted, and what came of it.
Does it record calls?
No. We do not store call audio at all. You get the written record instead.
Will it replace our receptionist?
That is not what it is for. It takes the routine calls that fill a day so your reception team has time for the people in front of them and the work that needs a person.
Can it book appointments?
Yes, where you have connected a calendar. It checks real availability and books during the call, rather than taking a request to arrange later.
Does it connect to the tools we already use?
Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Cal.com and the built-in Ringar AI Schedule are live today, and call events can be sent to n8n, Zapier, Make or your own endpoint. CRM, notifications and the other booking systems are being built. We would rather say that plainly than list connections that are not there yet.
How does pricing work?
One monthly price per plan, with a set number of minutes included. The plans differ in the minutes, the users, the concurrent calls and the phone numbers included; every plan includes calendar bookings and unlimited assistants.
Where is data stored and processed?
We do not claim that all processing takes place in the United Kingdom. Customer accounts, business configuration, transcripts and outcomes are held in a database hosted in London, the web application is hosted in London, the call-handling service is hosted in London, telephony is provided from Dublin, and the live call AI provider may process data outside the UK. Full detail is on the privacy page.
What counts as a minute?
Time spent on calls it answers. If nobody rings, nothing is used.
What does the effective cost per included minute mean?
It is the monthly price divided by the minutes included. Entry at £60 for 500 minutes works out at £0.12 per included minute. It is not a pay-as-you-go rate.
What happens if we use more than the allowance?
When the included minutes run out, Ringar stops accepting new calls. A call already in progress is never cut off; it finishes normally. You can then buy a 100-minute bundle (coming soon) or move to a larger plan.
How do the plans differ?
In the minutes included, the dashboard users, the concurrent calls and the phone numbers included. Every plan includes calendar bookings and unlimited assistants.
How many users are included?
Entry includes 1 dashboard user, Lite includes 2, and Pro includes 10.
How many phone numbers are included?
Entry and Lite include one phone number and Pro includes three. Additional phone numbers are £5 a month each, with no fixed limit.
Do unused minutes roll over?
No. Included minutes expire at the end of each billing period and do not roll over.
Do transfers cost extra?
No. Call transfers are included at no additional charge. Transferred call time counts towards your normal minute allowance.
Can I buy more minutes?
A 100-minute bundle is planned at £12 on Entry, £10 on Lite and £8 on Pro. It is not available to buy yet.
What happens after the trial?
The free trial includes one UK phone number and 50 calling minutes, no card needed to start it, and it runs for 7 days or until the minutes are used, whichever comes first. When it ends, choose a paid plan to keep your assistant answering calls. A call already in progress when the allowance is reached finishes normally.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
You can change or cancel your plan at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. A downgrade takes effect at the next billing date. Plan changes are not prorated mid-cycle.
What happens at the concurrent-call limit?
Each plan states how many calls it is priced to handle at the same time. Extra capacity above that figure may occasionally be available but is not guaranteed, and Ringar reserves the right to enforce the published allowance.
Is there a contract?
Plans are prepaid monthly. There are no setup or onboarding fees. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
