How to set up bookings in Ringar AI
Everything for bookings is in one section of the Bookings page, in three steps. Do them in order and callers are offered only the times you are open.
Bookings are set up in one place: a section called Get ready to take bookings on the Bookings page. It has three steps. Do them in order.
The steps
- In your dashboard, open Scheduling, then the Booking system tab.
- Under Step 1. Your opening hours, press Add your opening hours. If you have saved them before, the button says Check your opening hours. Save the days and times you are open.
- Under Step 2. Turn on your schedule, press Turn on schedule. You can do this once your opening hours are saved. When it is on, the page says: Your schedule is on. Callers are only offered times when you're open.
- Under Step 3. Connect your calendar, press Connect Google or Connect Outlook. This step is recommended. When it is done, the page says: Your calendar is connected. Anything already in your diary is blocked automatically.
If you have connected a calendar but not saved any opening hours, the page shows one Add your opening hours button and asks for them first. Turn on schedule appears once your hours are saved.
What callers can be offered
Further down the same page, What callers can be offered shows each day as open or closed. Closed days and times are greyed out, and callers are never offered them. To change a day, press Change opening hours.
This view is built from your opening hours only. It does not show what is in your calendar.
If your dashboard says you are not ready
Until bookings are set up, your dashboard home shows the message Customers can't see when you're free yet, with a Fix this button.
Can callers book a time when I am closed?
No. Once your schedule is on, callers are only offered times inside your opening hours. If a caller asks for a time outside them, nothing is booked.
What if my opening hours change?
Press Change opening hours on the Bookings page and save the new hours.
Does the open and closed view show my calendar?
No. It is built from your opening hours only, so appointments in your calendar are not shown there.
